The nature we share locally and globally
On the street art artist Michael Wisniewski’s tunnel painting, dandelion seeds float as a greeting to Vapnagård’s 51 different nationalities who, regardless of background, know the flower growing worldwide. In a naturalistic style where the spray can’s style is refined, the artist “free style” has transformed the tunnels into a lush oasis that shows the nature we share locally and globally.
Perhaps graffiti has evolved into an advanced climate message that encourages a common interest in the nature we must take care of around the world. The painting was inaugurated in connection with Vapnagård’s 50th anniversary.
